Nobody condemns a mother for taking her child off milk to solid foods but we grumble and resist when God does what is necessary to mature us! Let God perfect the things pertaining to you!

Tough love

God is not in the business of nursing babies but in the business of raising giants and until you understand that, stagnation will prevail.

Go for it!

In life there is rarely a surrogate(to give birth to your dream) or the short cut of adopting someonelse's dream. You might have midwife to help you, a hand to hold through the pains but ultimately you have to P.U.S.H you own dream into reality.Pray, Pursue, Persist!

BELIEVE THEM! it's futile to try and change them, it's exhausting and life wasting to live with the hope of their potential....Potential is for god to work on.
Relationship tip 2: Love does NOT hurt. 1 Corinthians 13:4-13, there is nothing in this blue print that tells us that love hurts.With every good thing that love has to give, hurt is the total opposite of all those things.

How to get over it

 I was listening to Iyanla Vanzant not so long ago and she said something that blew my mind. She  was talking about the death of her daughter and how she had healed from it by removing herself from the physical and embracing the lesson of it. I realised then that the physical(circumstances, maerial, even people) is always just a tool for the lesson.The physical is just like a pen and book used to write down what is being transfered from the teacher to the student.The important thing is what is being transfered, not the stationary being used. So is life.The lesson serves a greater purpose and therefore should be given more priority than the physical.

Worth

God created you 100% worthy but the world wants you to believe that you have to manufacture worth. Worth is God given, it's not manufactured.

The most relevant voices

Two voices should be allowed to dialogue in your mind: yours and God's voice otherwise you'll be forever confused and living an unstable life dictated by the voices of others.

How to take the sting out of words.

The opinions of others begin to hurt us when we give them more meaning than just an opinion,when we believe them to be true and give them the power to define us. The greater the self worth and knowledge about who you really are, the less the hurt.....huge lesson learnt over time!

When you starve the uneccessary  and survive, then you realise that there is nothing trully neccessary  for that specific time that God denies us, our minds just play tricks that state otherwise. Renew your mind! have a lovely Wednesday :-)

Being Divinely Defined

Only God can give a meaningful, definitive crown so look to Him.There is no validation in changing who you trully are for any man/woman , truth is you can't be what you aren't, but you can kill yourself trying to! Only God can redefine, only God can crown! Ask Vashti(thought her beauty could crown her) and Esther(let God crown and redefine her).

What "sorry" teaches you.

If you've ever had to say "sorry" and meant it from the depth of your heart then you also know that you have to forgive! I forgive all ,MERCY has taught me this!

A great proverb

In otherwords the guilt of doing dirt will turn you into a coward but in right standing with God, you have nothing to fear!I love, love, love it!

Why Praise?

The reason why praise is so powerful is because it takes the mind off human limitation and disability onto God's infinite ability. It creates positivity where there is discouragement. Encourage yourself in the Lord! Regardless of the situation , He is still able!

Put some work into it!

The reason why it is refered to as a "walk of faith" (2 Cor5:7 KJV) and  "running a race"(Hebrews12:1, 1 Cor9:24)  is because we are meant to actively pursue and press forward to our Godly destiny with specific spiritual guidance and not just passively wait on our knees. Prayer without actions will leave you exactly there...on your knees! "Even so faiith, if it has no works is dead being alone"James 2:17 KJV

Career and ministry

Our careers and ministry are not mutually exclusive but closely linked.Once we understand this  we not only stop being in awe of the preacher in the pulpit but also begin to permeate the world with the Glory and the light of God more effectively. You are just  as potentially powerful in your career and daily life as the preacher is in his daily work and service to God. Remember that becoming(transforming through the word) is far greater than "preaching at"(giving a message contrary to your living, it differes from ministering to and teaching people)

Trust

Any relationship without trust is a relationship on life support. You can't claim what you don't believe is fully yours. Mutual trust will breathe life into a relationship ,it may take some individual and collective work within the relationship.It will probaly also need alot prayer but in the end it really pays off  because lack of trust is really rooted in a fearful and doubtful thought and as a man thinketh so is he.(proverbs23:7)

The power of a decision.

Sometimes the only thing left between your problem and the solution God has for it is a decision. In a state of limbo we delay and torment ourselvves....God just wants us to yield, to decide fully and then He takes charge!

Luke10:30-35 The parable of the Good Samaritan

I love the parable of the good Samaritan because it reminds me that the Lord specializes in critical condition. As wounded, as bruised , as robbed and worthless as you might be The SAMARITAN is able to resuscitate and restore fully.

What escapists build their theory on

The escapist theology ie the "when I get to heaven I will or when Jesus comes we will" is built on three  foundations:
Frustration with fleshly struggles
Frustration with a life contrary to the dominion mankind was created for
Ignorance of what Christ dies to avail to us.
Heaven on earth is a reality of the kingdom minded individual.

It's bigger than you!

Doing good is not for the accolades, nor for the appreciation(a hard lesson I've had to learn) but for two main things:
To serve God
To better the lives of others
(Mark12:30-31)
Once you realise this, you can withstand criticism and the cold slap of being unappreciated.

1.Deeds =Actions. Our actions directly reflect the freedom of our minds.
2.Deed=a document of ownership .Therefore our new ownership through the Son frees us from the cages of all bondage!Physically, mentally,spiritually,financially,relationally .

Grace and Mercy

"Some people make mistakes and get better, other people make mistakes and commit suicide" Bishop Noel Jones. I found this to be a very profound statement because often we see God's grace and mercy only in light of His forgiveness , the escape of His wrath, His strength when we are going through the worst but we forget His grace in light of Him giving us a fresh start after we mess up majorly! He keeps us from making the most final mistakes our lives, that just blows my mind!

Privileged times

The contemporary saying is that we are living in hard times...well I beg to differ less than 100 years ago, we had diseases wiping out generations that were sure death sentences, but today through the blessing of the human mind we have cures and we have drugs that increase the life span of those affected. 100's of years ago I would probably be married to some 60 year old with a sick appetite for my youth,a whole bunch of kids and an empty factory life without my cosent, today I am not only chosen, I had the right to accept this choosing and also select(<3 you babe).100's of years ago, would probably fear for my life to declare the message of my Lord and saviour, today I can do that freely across borders without ever stepping foot out of my appartment!I could go on and on but I'll just say I see so many privileges afforded to us today.We are living in privileged times I say and I am greatful for that blessing Lord.

The truth of God's love

I choose not to question God's love because of the pressing and trials but to actually see His love because He made my fragile heart strong enough to bear it, I am still here!I love the Lord.

Impacting generations

Because we are created in light of our eternity we should live life not just to affect periods of time but to affect eternity, we ought to make an effect that lasts from generation to generation and not be held up in one little time frame when our lives get to be reflected on.

What prayer means to me

To me prayer is a place of authenticity.Without prayer how else do we face ourselves? Our darkest inner most secrets and fears are laid out in prayer. We meet our trueselves in prayer. That is why the Lord loves to listen our prayers and meet us there, because He can only work in an authentic, true space in us.May we fall in love with prayer!
