Double standards

I now know why god hates a lukewarm believer. You have no impact at all whether on the good or bad side,you are insignificant! Yesterday I sat through a painful documentary about Uganda and the anti gay opinion. I totally understand and agree with not letting immorality seap into our society and protecting the natural relations of man and woman in a family setting. what I simply can not understand is the fact that people choose what vices to go over board with. Uganda just like any other country has far worse evils seaping through and planting themselves firmly in society that it seems like a total joke that the one thing Ugandans are bothered about to the point of babaricly slaughtering the culprits is being gay! The argument for most is we do not want the youth to think it is okay and then they go to preach and quote bible to back them up. Well and good I say. However, where are the pulpitters when corruption is so deep that ministers pocket HIV and Malaria funds eventually leading to multitudes of deaths? where are they when the country is caught up in 'safe sex' campaigns when really the key message should be abstinance and faithfulness? Is it okay for me to practice safe sex with multiple partners outside and in marriage? I thought the same bible you quote to gay people clearly gives the message of sex between man and wife....all other forms of sex outside of this are considered immoral and evil.So the very fornicator and adulterer running to stone the gay woman or man should be stoned themselves then! What about  all this dangerous binge drinking even to the level of minors? Is that not at a much larger scale than the gays you seem to think are the worst thing to hit society? How many deaths a year do we have from drunk driving as opposed to from being 'gay'? How much domestic violence is sparked by drunkeness? who comes to those poor victims aid? a man batters hiw sife every night after drinking and no one runs in to save her but apparently gays are more dangerous. Prostitution people... who is jailing the men who pay for sex? they are promoting the act,the women are on those streets because evidently there are men who will pay for some. I don't hear about these women being dehumanised eitther yet they are contributing to marriage destructions and eventually destruction of families. For how long shall people continue to pick what they yell and fuss about? if you want to advocate morality encompass the whole thing. The bible is wholesome and if you choose to preach on it be wholesome too,otherwise don't taint the name of our Lord and His word. Culture is precious too so it must be upheld in all cases not just the specifics that repulse people while keeping those vices that give pleasure. Yes I said it, the only reason why gays are being attacked at that level is because all other vices are pleasurable to people and thus fighting them would mean a great struggle with the flesh.  Killing gays will never solve the problem, pray for,love them and study the issue to get to the root of it then and only then will it be solved otherwise more gays will continue to come up while people stack up murder cases before God in the name of 'cleasing' society.
