The relationship between, the broken, the afflicted and the blessed

The afflicted are they that multiply, the broken are they that are often blessed because brokeness is the best place to mould someone into a blessing  while afflication is the best pressure to cause multiplication.

Identify the need first

Identifying the need preceeds effectiveness. Without Identifying the need,you are a blind man trying to hit a target.

And Jesus, when he came out, saw many people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.Mark6:34KJV. He saw the need "they were as sheep having not a shepard" so He begun to teach to meet that need.

When trials meet strength they only become stepping stones!

Thankful for the blood!

Complacency has no rewards

The expectation of something out of nothing is the death of intengrity . The bible is clear that whatsoever a man sows, that he shall reap(Galatians6:7) and whatsover a man who delights in the law of the Lord DOETH shall prosper(Psalm1:3) Work is not only a gift because it rewards bt because it teaches principles along the way like dilligence, patience,relation for seldom work alone etc.

What does woman really signify to "him"

What does a woman contribute to his life? If you peel down all those layers of sweet, colorful words and find that it's nothing but home duties, bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner then he probably made you a hotel substitute! It should be a much deeper partnership than that.

It seems to me that from that monumental moment when Adam first saw Eve, the words of a man to woman have become less equated with the actual significance of the woman to a man's life.
Yes most Christians are reminded of her value, yes women have even evolved over the years, seemingly stronger because of being able to carry home duties as well as professional and for some maintaining our femininity all the same. BUT is it just our God who values us for who we truly are? Is He the only one who can call us what we are even yet to become?
The name Eve as given by Adam had a rich significance because he saw purpose in her. He loved her and his words matched what he did.
Millenniums down the line, here we are still men and still women yet things have run amuck! Should the men say we have changed so they have changed, that would seem fair but I would beg to differ and say could it be that the women who soared in the past were able to do so were loved by men who didn't change even when they changed, who called out what wasn't even there yet, who saw the deeper value beyond duties?
Nevertheless nothing is too messed for God...so even though my thoughts could indicate a blurry messy picture, I know that the answer lies inside me for out of my belly shall flow living waters the scripture says it starts at 1corinthians 13.....and as my spiritual Father says we are rubbing back to the days of Eden but we will not find Adam before the fall but Christ who was sent to restore, rebuild, revive, renew! After the fall. Shalom :-)

Having been in tight spaces, I have learnt the meaning of "wilderness" is really a "wild harness", because like a wild animal cornered the instict forces that animal to fight!The tight place is the place of wild harnessing: harnessing the word in you, harnessing the resevoirs of strength the Lord carefully plants in you for times like this, harnessing greatness, harnessing discipline because the dirt comes to the surface and can be dealt with, harnessing wisdom. 2Corinthians 4:17,Romans5:3-5

The approach seperates us.

There is little difference in the course of life for mankind, the major difference lies in APPROACH.
Spiritual Approach-what we believe,  what guides us, what we live by.

Mental Approach-what we think.

Physical approach-how we live
Practical Approach-what we do.

Rest sweet Rest

Past the midnight hour....between the hope of a new day and the fear of past failed days...the echoing voice of the Holy Spirit whispers REST into my restless spirit. The definition of me by God in genesis 1:27 ,"He created them both male AND  female in His image".....it reminds with the pressures of life, with the cages threatening to close around me, with the tears unseen, frustrations seemingly unending, the desperate fight for a breakthrough, the plea for a change of tides ,despite all of this..I HAVE POTENT DIVINITY in my genetic encoding and this is the assurance that I will win this, I was engineered to win and Christ in me is the absolute authority over anything that threatens to overpower me!....rest, rest, rest :-)

The situation may not look right but the Lord is right in that situation so it's just going to be alright!

Like Rizpah, sometimes we can not escape the dark days or trials in life, we have to go through them &get the breakthrough only after we have suffered a while.When she could not save her babies from execution, she only had her courage, loyalty & the undying love of a mother left to fight, she camped by their decaying bodies around the rock until THE RAIN FELL! 3 years of famine in the land but the silent, powerful actions of the woman changed the atmosphere! And she was not even a woman of good reputation prior to this!Thankful for Rizpah's powerful testimony!

Choose His presence

Living

Sometimes its bravery just to live life but it's certainly a better position than ending the race prematurely , never fully harnessing the potential God has put inside of you, never having seen the promises of victory in Christ...I'm thankful  to be alive, so much more unwritten :-)

It's amazing what focusing on the solution and not the problem can do to the 'impossible'. We are often are more able than we believe, more potentially loving than we allow ourselves to be, more instrumental and useful than we think. Scientific fact:With battery powered appliances, it is not advisable to use old batteries with new ones because it reduces the optimum usage of the new batteries which are in a way "strained" by the weakness of the old ones.For maximum optimisation, a balance is needed

Be careful who you write off.

Writing people off in the Kingdom of Good is not as black and white as writing off unpaid accounts in accounting and business...in the Kingdom of God, the hidden, silent gems are the ones you ought to look out for because the Lord is polishing them to shine, the Lord secretly picks them out.

Who are you talking to?

In life there are people who speak to and draw out your potential and there are some who drag you further away from it! Remember that 

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."Proverbs18:21

So sometimes guarding your potential and your destiny is greater than a "popularity" chase. 

Psalm 1:3.... Whatsoever he "doeth" shall propsper.False entitlement is the biggest enemy to success, just because you are blessed doesn't mean you should sit back, God has blessed us to DO exploits for the kingdom!

Nothing can seperate you from His love

God is with us for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, and not even death can seperate us from His love so why only remember Him in sickness, in poverty  or on the death bed?

Some of the things we women hate on are beyond petty.Who said hate could diminish any of the beauty in the person you are hating???It only diminishes yours and puts hers in  the limelight.

Consequences are often the furthest thing considered in decisions making but the closest thing to altering people's lives!

Saying yes to it all.

Saying yes to God includes allowing Him to break us if the need arises just to perfect us and make us who we really ought to be.He is thorough in his work and He leaves nothing untouched!

life is cyclical

People quit on the most valuable people/things in their lives because they forget the cyclical nature of life. Whatever you are chasing now is in the 'up' cycle but won't stay there forever, be wise and stick to your commitments, eventually, they'll come back up again.Enjoy your sunday y'all.

Did Thomas doubt the message or the messengers?

A wise lady taught me that our motives for having the things that we ask God for are often responsible for the delays or the denials of our requests. Selfless motives are one of the golden keys to answered requests.

The power of memory

One of the best solutions to hard times is to look back at the last time you thought you were having the worst time of your life but later found it to be the biggest blessing or the stepping stone to your biggest break throughs...the excitemment will take over#thank God for memory!#

A good heart is a protective mirror

When the receiving end of an evil deed of any sort(a lie, betrayal, spite, abuse,infidelity, theft etc) is a good and loving heart, that deed can't really be absorbed, all it does it is reflect/ bounce back to the doer!

Attitude is the first seed

The first seed sown before any effort is made is ATTITUDE, it is that which determines what you reap from any seed you sow. You can work hard and pray but if your mindset is negative and doubtful you will reap nothing!

Father to daughter.(first impression)

A girl's first prince charming is her father, he places the first impressions of the opposite sex in her mind and heart. If he puts a messy picture in her mind, she carries that with her into adulthood. 
If you see a troubled and "damaged" girl, One who can't seem to make any right relational choices, you might want to look past her exes and mother and look at her father. He may not neccessarily be a bad man , but look at the things he didnt teach her, the things he never said to her, the value he forgot to show her she had. The man may have done plenty of honourable things but forgot plenty of important things and the trouble with parenting is, every little thing counts.
It's little things like father-daughter dates that seem ridiculous to the ears but make perfect sense to that impressionable young lady. It's letting her know you love her not just in words but in deeds. Reminding her of her worth beyond just her school grades and reports.
Proverbs 22:6 says"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." this doesnt simply refer to pumping scriptures into your child's mind and having them attend church and watch spirituallly enriching content. It's a whole package, teaching the child how to relate, how to cope with daily life, how to walk away from hurtful and deadly situations and not chase after or cling to them.It is so much more!!! It is teaching that girl how to LIVE !
It is a father's responsibility to show  his daughter GOD in a man and not let her search for years in vain for that sense of God in a man. It should not be foreign or strange to her when she is pampered and loved, she should expect it because she is a "queen".  By showing her the right picture, he will direct her to the right man and save her the pain of scars along the way to the right one.
Without question there is a need for responsible, God fearing fathers or atleast father figures to show us how we should rightfully be treated, to recognize and let in the right man when he comes along, instead of putting our guard up, matter of fact to WAIT for him and not run into the ones who will mess us up so bad internally that the right one has to work through the mess first.
The great news is, at whatever point we do meet Christ, He has an amazing way of overturning everything we learnt in the natural and giving a fresh start, with Him it is never too late, and even to those "damaged" little girls, the right one is available through Christ. He will be man enough to  work through it all with you and love you for the gorgeous queen you are, so keep your head up, open your heart to the Lord and taste and see the goodness of the Lord.

Validation is it worth it?

When you hurt, struggle , get frustrated and mask it with the 'I'm all put together act' because God forbid you should show an inkling of weakness or admit to needing help! Is the social validation worth internal death and filth unreleased on the inside?

When you let your girls be all up in your personals giving you their "perfect" pieces of advice which sometimes can only apply to their life and their situation. Is your girls' validation worth your family , relationship and marital functionality and success?

When you own all the latest brands, live the posh lifestyle and are always up to date regardless of higher priorities and size of your account. Are the latest trends and posh lifestyle worth the financial strain?

When you let family dictate your every move and push you where they think you ought to be and go. Is family validation worth your true purpose?

When you robotically pick up the lingo, the lifestyle the culture of your brothers and sisters in Christ,cram but don't understand Genesis to Revelations and have no real internal transformation nor change in your life is the church validation worth the rich depth of being in Christ?

When you let the one you love and you assume 'loves ' you back abuse every value and every gift God gave you.Talking your self-esteem into the ground,letting him/her return your loyalty with the slap of unfaithfulness.letting him swap Godly leadership for cold calculated oppression. Or letting her superficial lifestyle drive you into debt.Opening your heart to slow but steady bit by bit crushing of yourself.hardening your beautiful loving heart because of the daily wounding.Is his/her validation worth your sparkle?

When you're turning your nose up on God  because there's 'hypocrisy' in church as though there's a place on earth where you don't find hypocrisy. In truth its just to fit in with the cool kats. Is validation worth your soul?

I've come to the conclusion that seeking validation of others is worth one thing... It's worth the satisfaction,happiness and wellbeing of everyone BUT YOURSELF

Time and Depth

The safest place

Myopic or Eagle's eye?

In life two things encircle us, our issues/troubles and our Spiritual help. With spiritual myopia we only see what our sensory faculties experience but with the eagle's eye we can see beyond that and actually recieve the help we need for every situation!

Clean it ALL up!

It's time we stopped selecting what filth to point our fingers at. It makes no sense to be morally pure but filthy at heart and in spirit...having bitterness, endless worry, unable to help others in need, a malicious tongue etc. Some so called "saints" are doing some of the most despicable things because of rotten hearts and yet the ones weak in one area ie prostitutes and fornicators with good hearts are getting more fingers pointed at them. If you're cleaning house clean it ALL up!

It's more glorious when it's unexpected.

Every infant has to crawl,stumble and wobble before walking upright . God loves us so much that He will not allow  His sweet elect to make such a debacle of themsleves in the galring public eye, so He prunes and shapes you before He allows you to be showcased as His dime peace on the world stage. Don't despise the background, the unveiling is always more glorious when it's unexpected!

Rest

No matter how frantically you run up and down, chase after one thing to the next , the truth is God has specific things for each person, He will not allot you someonelse's portion, nor deny you what's yours.Rest is knowing what God has for you is YOURS and it will be yours now or later. Exfoliating facial wash

Our skins get clogged by dirt and oil and unremoved dead skin and thiis can cause black heads , pimples and rough skin and most ladies would be concerned and be advised to use a daily exfoliating facial wash.The main concern would be "does it work?" All diligence and patience would be exercised just by the assurance that it would work. Why do we then deny Gods hand in our lives the same trust and patience? Surely we KNOW it WILL WORK OUT in the end!

A movement not a monument

God's kingdom is a movement not a monument, we ought to grow, to increase in all ways and in all spheres, to take what the human eye calls risk but what the spiritual knows better to call FAITH, we ought to evolve and be ready for continuous incremental transitions!Be it a leap or a tiny step, forward is the direction we should take.

Faith with people

No where else do we have to excercise more faith than with people because often times we see the negative attributes of ourselves in them, the same attributes that we ourselves may have struggled for ages to change or are still struggling to change. We assume  the change will not come now or anytime soon BUT FAITH!!!

Kingdom minded

The church mentality is the babe mentality, the person is keen to find the faults of others and criticise them while the person with the Kingdom mentality is keen to critically examine him/herself and uproot the unwanted seed that will spoil the glory and the power of God in ones personal life.

The truth is NOT a cowardly mark to have.

Isn't it ironic that those who walk in truth(the word) and are commonly refered to as "goodies" are considered "safe" yet in this age it is more courageous to walk in truth, to proclaim truth than to live outside of the truth.

uproot the underbrush

Just as thick, overgrown underbrush will stop the rain from falling to the ground of an otherwise fruitful garden/forest, so will deep rooted issues hinder the rain from God falling into your life.  To recieve without any hinderance you have to clean up that underbrush!

Decisions begin to have effect in our lives when we realise that they are seperate from our emotions..that they have the power to eventually align our emotions to them instead of them determining what our decisions should be. Decisions to walk in truth, to love unconditionally, to forgive, to work hard instead of  being lazy,to deny ones flesh, for some even to get born again are all tough and may not initially feel good but eventually if you stick to the decision,the feelings will line up with that decision and it will be effective.

Often times we attach a correlation between Gods presence and times of abundance but truth is the God of abundance is still the same God of tight places. He was as much present in the garden of Gethsemane and the cross as He was at the resurrection of Christ. He was was as much present in Job's tight place as He was in Job's time of abundance.

The toughest battles are fought in silence.

Be satisfied with who you are

The backbone of the one who holds the accolade is more valuable than the one who hold the accolade.Perfect confidence and assurance of who you are will save years of trying to shine  and continuously change so that people can see you instead of enjoying the very thing you were created to do.

Sometimes God slows us down to help us appreciate the journey of life better instead of speeding through it without a single lesson or value. So I wake up today not well at all and my "anyway friend" and I had this major breakthrough as we spoke,he told me that "there would be tears of eternal joy and that a new path had been created" I believed him.Change is created by new paths not old patterns so create those paths.

At the beginning of any addiction there is the obvious point of  EXPOSURE to the addictive substance or activity and YOUR CHOICE.
The reason why it is so easy to take that first try is because in the beginning when choice is still in your hands it appears as if you have capless power. Once that choice is to indulge in whatever addictive activity  then you have automatically switched positions and become the weaker...you have made yourself vulnerable to the possibility of addiction. Don't be fooled make the right choice.

Twisted World

Why do false ,screwed lines of thought and ideologies spread like a wild fire while THE TRUTH faces so much opposition? What does it say about society when advocates for garbage are hailed as semi-gods while those advocating for morality, spirituality, uprightness are considered 'wierdos' taking life too serious...does life become void of joy when you start to add value to it,start to care about progression, start to live for God and His kingdom? When did garbage become the highest measure of joy? Notice the more garbage society gets accustomed to the more disatisfaction and disillusionment. (compare suicide and depression rates over time)

You can do and be good at many things, but you were born to do ONE thing,find your purpose, the place where guns blazing no one can touch you!

The irony in life is that people chase after the measurable,quantifiable  things when the true treasures in life which are priceless and impossible to measure are free. A mighty God,Salvation, Freedom,Love,Peace,family....ladies y'all feel me on this one A GOOD MAN ;-)

To increase your drive in life,try shifting the motivation from you GETTING BLESSED  to you actually BEING THE BLBESSING to others. Double standards

I now know why god hates a lukewarm believer. You have no impact at all whether on the good or bad side,you are insignificant! Yesterday I sat through a painful documentary about Uganda and the anti gay opinion. I totally understand and agree with not letting immorality seap into our society and protecting the natural relations of man and woman in a family setting. what I simply can not understand is the fact that people choose what vices to go over board with. Uganda just like any other country has far worse evils seaping through and planting themselves firmly in society that it seems like a total joke that the one thing Ugandans are bothered about to the point of babaricly slaughtering the culprits is being gay! The argument for most is we do not want the youth to think it is okay and then they go to preach and quote bible to back them up. Well and good I say. However, where are the pulpitters when corruption is so deep that ministers pocket HIV and Malaria funds eventually leading to multitudes of deaths? where are they when the country is caught up in 'safe sex' campaigns when really the key message should be abstinance and faithfulness? Is it okay for me to practice safe sex with multiple partners outside and in marriage? I thought the same bible you quote to gay people clearly gives the message of sex between man and wife....all other forms of sex outside of this are considered immoral and evil.So the very fornicator and adulterer running to stone the gay woman or man should be stoned themselves then! What about  all this dangerous binge drinking even to the level of minors? Is that not at a much larger scale than the gays you seem to think are the worst thing to hit society? How many deaths a year do we have from drunk driving as opposed to from being 'gay'? How much domestic violence is sparked by drunkeness? who comes to those poor victims aid? a man batters hiw sife every night after drinking and no one runs in to save her but apparently gays are more dangerous. Prostitution people... who is jailing the men who pay for sex? they are promoting the act,the women are on those streets because evidently there are men who will pay for some. I don't hear about these women being dehumanised eitther yet they are contributing to marriage destructions and eventually destruction of families. For how long shall people continue to pick what they yell and fuss about? if you want to advocate morality encompass the whole thing. The bible is wholesome and if you choose to preach on it be wholesome too,otherwise don't taint the name of our Lord and His word. Culture is precious too so it must be upheld in all cases not just the specifics that repulse people while keeping those vices that give pleasure. Yes I said it, the only reason why gays are being attacked at that level is because all other vices are pleasurable to people and thus fighting them would mean a great struggle with the flesh.  Killing gays will never solve the problem, pray for,love them and study the issue to get to the root of it then and only then will it be solved otherwise more gays will continue to come up while people stack up murder cases before God in the name of 'cleasing' society.

You HAVE a gift...it is NEEDED ,it is THE WAY for you. So stop feeding off and envying someonelse's,harness your own and perfect it.

The secret place God desires to take each individual into admits two only(you and God)....in this place we tap the deepest,most precious gifts of the Lord. We recieve wisdom and revelation,comfort for the darkest times and grow. The reason why we sometimes fail to get the best out of God is we crowd that secret place. Though it is not neccessarily a physical space,it should be revered. Respect that space,give it the honour it deserves.

Don't misunderstand the process to prosperity to be failure....just keep moving,you will get there eventually.

The pursuit of self

We can't find ourselves in anyonelse but ourselves. Aimlessly running from person to person in pursuit of our true selves is not only giving them the unrealistic responsibility of revealing that inner self but also a waste of emotional energy. The people we love can only help in encouraging us to be better,in challenging us ,they can even go so far as to see the good in us that we don't see but ultimately we must seek and find that ourselves. The pursuit of self is a personal journey that involves shifts in attitudes and thoughts,sieving the unwanted from the good,processing the experiences that define us and trusting God to guide us on the journey.

Understanding the purpose of a season

A season without understanding is void of value. It is the understanding that enables us to maximise the season.

The words and actions of others can only control us as far as we let them. When we take authority over who we are,and refute all negativity from other sources we have an opportunity to be bigger than any criticism,we can soar beyond human expectations and we can attain what is outside the box. Human beings are dynamic but defining ourselves by one mistake,a general opinion,a loved one's hurtful words or a narrow perspective limits what we can do and attain from life. Shrug it off,pick yourself up,encourage yourself and live life! Eventually the change within you will speak for itself.

I'm learning...

Self examination first

Sometimes in the midst of repeated conflict we focus on the other person and forget to examine what it is we might be doing to contribute to the 'war like' atmosphere. The Canaanite woman in Matthew 15:21-28 comes to mind her first approach to Jesus,awarded her silence, the second a form of rebuke...she never faltered though,why? in the silence and in his rebuke she identified her role in what had caused Jesus to react to her in that manner. Had she been oblivious to her role,she might have taken an offended stance or given up but because she knew she had wronged along with her people, she humbled herself and continued to press for common ground and recieved a reward in the form of an answered request.
Examine yourself...often you are contributor to that which happens to you.

A Problem to Problems

When the issues pile up as they have these past few months for me, it comes to a point where they have either of  two adverse effects,either kill your fight completely or make you unexpectedly a relentless fighter!

All I can say right now is that I have become a problem to problems...quitting is not an option anymore!I only push more! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

Inner Strength

Finding strength in other people is kindness,empathy,compassion,love but finding your devinely given strength is liberation!

Never that bad

Today i am inspired by those fighters who wear no war gear but carry those burdens so large with grace ,humility ,and love . Sometimes we look at our situations and assume we have it worst or simply sink into the situation as if it were my master. I have been one of those people more times than I can count but today I say no more to this! I am bigger than any situation because there is a winner in me and his name is Jesus.
